You’ve lived here for a few weeks.
Your apartment isn’t huge and the surroundings aren’t perfect, but that’s basically true for all housing in Hikari. You work at a small store a few blocks away, selling various art products and such. The pay isn’t horrible, and actually… it’s pretty good for a job here.
Hikari no machi, the city of light. It’s a wonder that you found a place here, it’s quite populated. Although, that does mean a lot of crime takes place. Mostly on the north side of the city, though. You’re lucky you live in the eastern district.
Although, that might not be far enough.
CyberLove is an 18+ yandere visual novel set in a futuristic city. You are just trying to live a normal(ish) life, but a certain brunette has found quite an interest in you. And he’ll do anything to have you.
Districts
The eastern district, nicknamed “The easy side.” You live here in a small apartment with a kind, old landlady. It’s your standard not-too-poor-not-too-rich area. Dominated by residential buildings and small-owned shops, it may be the safest place to live.
The western district, nicknamed “The mall,” is full of street vendors and shops on every street. Colorful lanterns light up the roads overhead, and Sakura trees bloom from where an alleyway should be. Although residential buildings are basically nonexistent, some do exist. They may be the most expensive apartments around, but it would sure be worth it.
The northern district is nicknamed “The dark side.” It’s crime-ridden and chaos-stricken, and not the best place to live. Not much is here, apart from small, shabby apartments and run-down, hole-in-the-wall restaurants that probably failed the heath and safety test (if they ever had one.) There are a few gangs, but they aren’t to be feared as much as the rouge criminals that wouldn’t hesitate to kill to get a few bucks.
The southern district is nicknamed “The rich side” due to its residents being mainly wealthy business owners and famous performers. This area of the city is the most expensive side, and also the cleanest. Neon lights illuminate the sky, giving the city the name “Hikari.” Many powerful people live here, and you happen to be good friends with one of the most powerful women in the whole city.
Characters
Cypher, the main “love interest” and your …biggest fan. He lives in the northern district, where crime is prevalent and danger is around every corner. He had never felt love for another being… until he laid eyes on you.
Pixel, your best friend and most… interesting companion. They live in the same apartment complex as you, which is situated in the eastern district. They work as a hair stylist in the salon across the street. Don’t call them short, unless you desire a few kicks to the shin.
Mirai, a powerful woman who resides in the southern district, which has been nicknamed “The rich side.” Known in Hikari for her popular brand of street fashion, she is one of your most trusted acquaintances and your most supportive friend.
Morphine, your roommate. She’s some sort of fox-person, and it always brings meat home… she’s weird, to say the least.
